PLUMP MEDSPA FAQS

  • Injectable treatments are best suited for patients who understand that aesthetic care is an ongoing  process. Results are influenced by anatomy and individual response, and treatment plans may  evolve over time.

Maintenance, staged care, and periodic reassessment are often part of long-term planning.  Patients who value guidance, flexibility, and thoughtful care tend to be the best fit.

  • Consultations include an evaluation of anatomy, a discussion of goals, and a review of what  treatment options may be appropriate. Recommendations are based on clinical judgment and  experience rather than a preset plan.

  • If you’re unsure what to book, a consultation is the best starting point. This allows your provider  to assess anatomy and goals and recommend an appropriate plan.

  • Online booking selections are based on what you are interested in treating and are used to reserve  appropriate appointment time. All appointments begin with an in-person consultation and  assessment.

After evaluating anatomy and goals, your provider may recommend adjusting the plan to what is  most appropriate for you. In some cases, a different treatment may be advised or treatment may  be deferred.

  • Not necessarily. If treatment is not appropriate on a given day, or if a different approach is  recommended, plans may be adjusted or deferred. This is part of responsible care.

  • Botulinum toxin treatments typically involve minimal downtime. Mild redness, swelling, or  tenderness at injection sites can occur shortly after treatment.

Results develop gradually, with full effect most often seen around two weeks. Results are not  permanent and commonly last around three to four months, though this varies based on anatomy,  dose, and individual response.

  • Facial dermal filler can cause swelling, firmness, or temporary asymmetry, depending on the area  treated and individual anatomy.

Early appearance does not represent the final result. Filler continues to integrate and soften over  several weeks and months as tissues settle.

Dermal fillers are not permanent. Longevity varies, but many patients can expect results to last  around a year, with some variation depending on area and metabolism. Maintenance may be  recommended as part of long-term planning.

  • Lip filler commonly causes noticeable swelling, especially in the first few days after treatment.  This is expected and temporary. Lips may appear fuller, uneven, or firmer early on.

Swelling often improves over the first one to two weeks, but the lips continue to integrate and  soften over several months. Most patients see a more settled result around six to eight weeks,  with subtle changes sometimes continuing through three months and beyond.

Early fullness does not reflect the final result. Lip filler is not permanent, and maintenance or  staged treatments may be recommended depending on goals and anatomy.

  • If you have existing lip filler from another clinic, a consultation or photo review is required  before booking additional lip filler treatment. This allows us to determine whether further filler is  appropriate or if dissolving is needed first.

For photo review, please email clear photos in good lighting along with your prior injection  history to info@plumpmedspa.com.

  • Longevity varies based on treatment type, anatomy, and individual response.

Botulinum toxin commonly lasts around three to four months. Dermal fillers are longer lasting  but not permanent, often around a year for many patients. Lip filler longevity varies and may  require staged care or maintenance over time.

Because these treatments are not permanent, periodic reassessment and maintenance may be part  of long-term planning.

  • No medical or aesthetic treatment can be guaranteed. Individual response and healing vary, and  recommendations are made based on clinical assessment and judgment.
